Materials:
1. Metal wire or Floral wire or Doublewear headband
You can use either of the three wires It really doesn't matter but I used a metal wire because I think it's better than the floral one. But if you want your crown to be elastic or what, buy the doublewear headband, it's Goody. The wire costs for about P32 and you can do 3 different crowns with this length. How cool is that? SUPER COOL HAHA. There's no exact length written on the plastic though.
2. Floral tape or Green tape
You will need this tape to cover up the wire and to make the crown more presentable. You'll use this when you're done putting the flowers. I bought this tape for P42.
3. Synthetic/Plastic flowers or Paper flowers
These are paper flowers. Haven't seen any plastic flowers in the department store so I chose to use this instead. I think this kind looks more beautiful and lively than the plastic ones. The green flower is P64 and the orange one is P29. I think they both have 12 pieces each. I just can't figure out why does the green flowers cost too much lol. May be because it's style's different? WHO KNOWS?
4. Scissors
You just don't need scissors. You need SHARP scissors! How will you cut the wire if you don't have these? Hahaha, how? Just kidding.
So darlings, you just need simple and few materials to start making your own flower crowns! Let's do this!
STEP 1:
Measure the wire around your head to get the perfect size and to form a circle. Cut the wire. Remember to wrap the wire around your head twice or double it to make your crown more steady and firm.
STEP 2:
Choose a flower of your choice. Then wrap the wire of the flower to the wire you made earlier. It's easier to start at the center of the crown to make the flowers all even in the right position.
Just wrap the flower's wire around the main wire. And when you're done, it should look like this.
Repeat Step 2 all the way around the head piece. It's up to you if you're going to put the flowers just on the half of the crown or on the entire wire.
STEP 3:
If you're done, wrap the floral tape around the wire. It's also up to you if you want to double the wrapping.
STEP 4:
Tada! Now your fab flower crown is made. BY YOU! (NO, I ACTUALLY DID THIS! LOLOLOL.) You can wear your flower crowns at the mall (well, I won't wear this at malls tho. I might look weird lol), parties, at the beach with your friends, concerts, festivals, or anywhere you want!
[ALL THE MATERIALS (EXCEPT THE SCISSORS) WERE BOUGHT AT SM NORTH DEPARTMENT STORE, 2ND FLOOR I THINK (NOT SURE HAHA).]
YAY! ARE YOU GUYS HAPPY? NOW START TO DO YOUR OWN FLOWER CROWNS. LIKE NOW! DO IT RIGHT NOW! Just kidding. Well, you need first all the materials to start. I didn't put any flowers at the back of the crown though, because If I suddenly laid back my head or if I wanted to lie down, there will be no destroyed flowers or something like that. Who wants their crown to be damaged by the way? :D
Like what I have said a while ago, I made 3 different crowns. So here's a photo of them. And candid photos of me wearing the crowns! HAHAHA.
